2017 Mazda6 : coming soon to Halifax
August 25 2016,

Now, the 2017 Mazda6 is coming to Halifax with everything buyers have come to know and love, but with more features sure to make the Mazda6 a continued success in its class.
A few additions including G-Vectoring Control for the 2017 Mazda6
The 2017 Mazda6 will be basically the same car we have now, but with even more features. Among these features we have G-Vectoring Control, a new technology that improves both overall stability and performance when turning with the 2017 Mazda6. The 2017 Mazda3 will also have this exclusive technology while other Mazda models will get it at a later date.
In the comfort and refinement department, the 2017 Mazda6 has been tweaked in order to make it even quieter as it cruises down the road. Mazda engineers thickened the glass and changed the door hinges in order to reduce outside noise inside the cabin. Mazda also changed the 2017 Mazda6’s equipment levels, adding for example a rearview camera in the base GX model.
The GS trim will get Smart City Brake Support automatic braking, navigation, blind spot monitoring and a heated steering wheel. The top-of-the-line Mazda6 GT gets heads-up display, road sign reading and detection, and a trip computer that is now housed in a 4.6-inch display. Moreover, i-Activesense now adds lane departure prevention to an already impressive list of active safety technologies including adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, lane departure warning and adaptive headlights.
Other features like Nappa leather and a leather steering wheel are also now available on the 2017 Mazda6.
One powerful yet fuel-efficient engine in the 2017 Mazda6
The 2017 Mazda6 will continue to be powered by a SKYACTIV-G 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 184 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque. Sending its power to the front wheels through a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission, this engine provides plenty of power while also being fuel-efficient.
Indeed, when combined with i-Eloop technology, this engine has an average fuel economy rating of 5.9 liters per 100 kilometers on the highway and 8.5 liters per 100 kilometers in the city. That makes the 2017 Mazda6 one of the most fuel-efficient midsize sedans on the market.
Despite its efficiency, the 2017 Mazda6 is also one of the most fun sedans to drive available today. To learn more about the 2017 Mazda6 which starts at $24,695, contact us today at City Mazda!
