Mazda Releases Its Sales Numbers for June

The Mazda3 remained the most popular vehicle in the Mazda lineup, selling over 2,382 units during the month of June.
The brand new Mazda CX-9 also did very well, having just been completely redesigned. The seven-seat midsize SUV saw its sales increase by an impressive 305.2 percent, selling 389 units last month.
Another popular crossover, the compact Mazda CX-5, kept the pace by recording a 13th consecutive month of increasing sales. Mazda sold more than 2,281 CX-5s, making June the best month ever for the sport utility vehicle with a 22 percent increase compared to the same month last year.
Because June also marks the beginning of summer, it is normal that sales of the Mazda MX-5, Mazda’s well-known sporty roadster, were also on the rise. Indeed, 104 MX-5s were sold last month, compared to 60 in June 2015, an increase of 73 percent. Since the beginning of the year, Mazda MX-5 sales have more than doubled.
